Day 3: The Piazza Navona and Pantheon

We gathered onto the bus from the Spanish Steps and were told that we were heading off to the Piazza Navona which was met with groans of exhaustion from the crowd. Griffin voiced his concern in the following way, "I'm NOT getting off this bus again!" Several echoed his sentiments and volunteered to stay on the bus. We drove a few minutes, then unloaded on the side of the road to find the following:

Our guide didn't even stop, so the pictures were taken on the move. I wish I had stopped and gotten more shots. Then we walked down a few more streets to come upon this:
We spent just a few minutes in the Pantheon before we left. I think we could have spent at least an hour in there. As we walked back to the bus, we saw this church and snapped a quick picture. This is probably one of my favorite pictures of our adventures in Rome. It's Griffin's smiling face from outside the bus. He got to stay on the bus after all.

Thus ends our tour of Rome. It was back to the Golden Tulip for a quick rest and then off to visit Emmanuelle and family for a full family dinner!

You're right! I absolutely love that picture of Griffin - it's such art! Please give it to Liz and let her print it for you and enlarge it if she can.
